Pentagon forms new task force to investigate UFO sightings

The Pentagon has established a new group to investigate UFO sightings. The synchronization group Identification and Management of Air Objects (AOIMSG) will succeed, the unknown Navy Aerial Navy phenomenon. According to the Department of Defense, “AOIMSG will synchronize efforts throughout the US Department and US government to detect, identify and connect objects that are in demand in special air (SUA), and to assess and reduce related threats for flight safety and national security.”

The establishment of the task force followed the release of report in June where the office of the National Intelligence Director (Odni) examined 144 appearances “unknown air phenomenon.” In just one example is the officer who can determine what causes the appearance. For each other incident the detail in the report, Odni said there was too little data to conclude what happened. If the US government will have the opportunity to understand a better UFO, Odni said it would use more resources and standard approaches in various institutions. It seems that the Department of Defense has taken the recommendation to the heart.
